SEGA NOMAD STUFF and INFO-PAGE

Year!! Here my little contribution to the web community!

And I will present YOU the fantastic little portable SEGA-GENESIS alias NOMAD system!

This system is, briefly said, a kind of GameBoy, but much better!
Think of a 16/32-bit portable system with a huge backlit liquid cristal display and
games containing about max. 24MEGAbits (yes!!!!) of space!
Most of the nintendo games only have a few megabits.

Think about fantastic games like StreetFighter II Special Champion Edition
with COLORFUL shaded sprites (no two-colors-sprites like a
Neogeo Pocket Color ;-) on a portable system and cool ThunderForce shooters
with multiplane parallax-scrolling.

Or you like real-time-strategy games like Command&Conquer? No problem.
You find Dune2 (the predecessor) with digized speech and smooth area-scrolling.
(much nicer than the PC-Version).

Theres no better portable gaming system on the market.
And the best is: you can cheaply buy sega genesis games (and there are a lot!!).
You can use European pal/secam Megadrive games, but a few need an external adaptor or a game-switch (by modifying the unit).

Everyone knows the Commodore Amiga 500. In matter of 2D-games he is still
more superior than the PC-Hardware. (you need hundreds of MHzs to emulate a 7MHz processor). The Sega Nomad has the same main CPU!! It´s a Motorola 68000 with about 7 MHz giving the unit the necessary speed. But thats not all!!
The Sega Nomad has more CPUs for his "gaming-tasks".
Sega has spended a sound Coprocessor: the Z80. Its the same processor found
on the Sega Game Gear. This means that the Nomad has the processor for the sound
that the Game Gear uses for calculating this games!!! (And this games do NOT look bad!!!).

And.. thats not all.. you can connect the unit to your tv if you want!!!!
Or even a second joypad controller for multiplayer games!!
